Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Plantation Program Manager located in WP, Kuala Lumpur, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Plantation Program Manager will be responsible for assisting, managing, and delivering complex projects in the Palm Oil and Durian estates to manage day-to-day plantation operations, implementing short interval controls and active supervision to optimize resource utilization, and driving behavioral changes for increased yield and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Strong operational planning and program management skills, with experience in managing complex projects in agricultural, plantation, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with plantation-related technologies such as IoT, GPS, NFC, and drone applications, with the ability to utilize real-time performance data for enhanced decision-making.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and using technology solutions to drive measurable improvements in productivity and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and build collaborative relationships.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. A background in plantation/estate management or a related sector is a plus.
  • Willingness to work on-site at times and adapt to a hybrid working environment.

Growth & Delivery Lead – Malaysia (Thai-Speaking)

Role Overview

This role is mission-critical to driving commercial traction, operational rigor, and end-to-end delivery excellence across our early customer portfolio in Thailand, with the position based in Malaysia. The Growth & Delivery Lead acts as a hybrid operator owning the full customer lifecycle from prospecting and acquisition to successful implementation, adoption, renewal, and cash collection. As a founding team member, the role anchors market expansion in Thailand, strengthens customer confidence, and creates scalable delivery playbooks for future regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Acceleration

Drive top-of-funnel activities, identify qualified opportunities, and secure new customer accounts. Execute consultative selling motions to articulate ABS Innovation’s value proposition to plantation and mill leadership teams. Deliver annual new-business revenue aligned to strategic KPIs.

2. Customer Success, Retention & Expansion

Build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across mill operations, estate management, and top management. Ensure renewals through high-touch account management and continuous value demonstration. Identify and close upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

3. Project Delivery & Implementation Excellence 

Lead project onboarding, deployment, and go-live execution across assigned customers. Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, support, training) to ensure timely delivery. Track and drive user adoption, utilisation metrics, and behavioral change outcomes.

4. Operational & Service Quality Governance

Monitor system utilisation, service performance, and post-go-live KPIs. Proactively manage escalations, ensuring zero critical customer complaints. Standardize operating procedures and contribute to internal delivery frameworks.

5. Receivables & Cashflow Discipline 

Oversee invoice tracking, follow up on collections, and ensure adherence to credit terms. Maintain zero >60-day outstanding invoices within assigned accounts. Support finance in aligning commercial, contractual, and payment workflows.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New Subscription revenue (ARR) and number of new accounts closed
  • Renewal rate and upsell value from existing clients
  • Project completion timeline adherence and adoption metrics
  • System utilisation rate & service-quality indicators
  • Debtor days and overdue invoice percentage

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–8 years experience in B2B technology, SaaS, industrial digital transformation, or operations consulting (plantation or manufacturing background advantageous).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, from field supervisors to C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated track record in both commercial and operational delivery.
  • Fluent in Thai Language ( Business)
